 Association FOR YOU is looking for 11 volunteers from abroad to live and work in the city of Varna at the Black Sea coast!

All volunteer missions last 11 months and start in February 2024:

1/ Volunteer with Table Soccer Club “JA-RA”

The JA-RA Club supports the development, trainings and contests of the table soccer in Bulgaria. Our volunteer will support the team in organizing events (competitions, tournaments, etc.); support the lessons for children and young people; support in advertisement and marketing campaigns in social networks; welcoming and advising club visitors; maintaining the club’s social channels; taking pictures  on events; administration of the club membership; communication with partners and other sports clubs; searching for funding and international partnerships; create new projects.

2/ Volunteer for the Youth Center “HALE 3”

HALE 3 is an alternative youth environment specialized in event management. It is a space uniting three different halls in the general idea of ​​freedom, independence and creativity: a constantly changing street-ramp-pool track for extreme sports is located on an area of ​​700 m2; place for audio-visual performances, concerts, cinema and shows; creativity, relaxation or a shared workplace and library place. Volunteer’s tasks are the maintenance and development of the youth center; support in organizing events; to create photo/video/text content for social media; support in the space’s and equipment’s design process; support in preparing advertising and marketing campaigns in social networks; welcoming and advising visitors and guests of the space; support for skateboarding/rollerblading lessons. The center has a reception, a coffee area and an art shop and the tasks will also include servicing these areas.

3/ Foundation “SOS – Families at Risk”

“SOS-Families at Risk” is an NGO that supports women and children – victims of domestic violence. The volunteer will support the team of a Shelter center for women and children victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. This project is a good opportunity for young people who would like to learn more about social work, psychology, the organization of free time activities, human rights, HIV/AIDS, work with children, non-formal education. Activities are focused on the organization of leisure activities for women and children victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. Outdoor games with the children crafting activities, cooking, walks and accompaniment, help for school, non-formal language lessons, other leisure time activities, own activities of the volunteer.

4/ Association “FOR YOU”

The mission of our NGO is to support and promote in Bulgaria the voluntarism, youth work and non-formal education. We are searching a volunteer who would like to support our efforts at local level to promote volunteering among young people in our city and country. Task of the volunteer will be: creation of texts for a blog, website, social networks; preparation of presentations and advertising materials; maintaining a blog; maintaining the organization’s profiles in social networks; support in preparing advertising and marketing campaigns; contact with partner organizations; organizing events; video and photo recording of events; promotion of the Erasmus+ and the  European Solidarity Corps opportunities for youth mobility in schools or universities; support the team in day-to-day activities as office tasks, preparation of documents and translation of documents from/to English.

5/ University of Economics – Varna, International Cooperation Office

The University is one of the major pillar of economics education and research in Bulgaria for a century. Volunteer’s main task is to support the incoming and outgoing students on Erasmus+ and other exchange programs. The volunteer will also maintain relations with partner universities and look for new contacts; support the application process for new projects; help in events to promote Erasmus+; relevant information publishing on the official university website; participate in other tasks or projects, related to the international mobility.

6/ University of Economics – Varna, Careers, Entrepreneurship and Marketing Department

The volunteer will support events and their promotion in social media. Main tasks are to support the creative process in the center; to create text and visual content suitable for the Center’s news site and social networks; to support the development of the partner network of UE-Varna with business and to communicate with students in matters related to the practical compulsory internship; to support the activities of organizing events; to help with the photography and media coverage of the events.

Accommodation is provided – a single room for every person in apartment in Varna, as well as a monthly allowance (food and pocket money and local transport) international health insurance and Youthpass certificate.
