Two new volunteers will join our team in July

Two new volunteers will join our team in July.

As the project "Social Inclusion through art" was approved, two new volunteers will join our team. This time they come from Spain and Hungary, a girl and a boy, and will spent the whole year with us. I am sure that this news saddens some of you because it means that Johnny, Hannah and Ahmet are leaving. Well, not so much mourn, each promised to visit us again.

The new volunteers will be involved in artistic activities that Association FOR YOU organizes for youngsters in disadvantage situation in order to organize their leisure time. Those are also the main themes of the project - work with people in disadvantage situation and youth leisure. Volunteers can assist the host organization in organizing various events, seminars and informal trainings, as well as to take part in their media coverage. The main methods of work are acquiring skills through application of artistic creative work, team work, peer education and participation in various informal trainings.

Main objectives are the development of solidarity between young people from different social groups, including young people in activities aiming at social integration of disadvantaged people, fostering active participation of young people and their creativity and entrepreneurship. Additionally the project will promote the understanding between youth from different countries, will introduce the youngsters to different cultures and will promote the volunteerism and the active participation of young people.

We can not wait to meet them.

The project "Social Inclusion through art" became true thanks to the financial support of the programme "Youth in Action" of the EC, administered in Bulgaria by the National Centre "European Youth Programs and Initiatives."
