Mireia volunteering in Varna

Hi! My name is Mireia, I’m from Badalona a city closed to Barcelona (Spain) and I’m doing my EVS in the International Relations Office of the University of Economics – Varna for 10 months.

The main activities I develop in the University is to support the work with incoming and outgoing Erasmus students, to keep relations with partner universities and search for new contacts, to search and apply for new projects, to support the organization of events and EVS promotion as well as other tasks or projects on international relations office. As you can see, the EVS is a unique opportunity to improve my professional skills and hopefully to help me in my future career. Moreover, thanks to the EVS I’m discovering Bulgaria, a country completely unknown for me some months ago, and meeting lot of people around the world. So, if somebody asks me why EVS I will reply immediately: why not? The EVS is an opportunity to learn in a non-formal way about culture, people, work, life!

See you in Varna ;)
