International youth exchange See over Seas!

See over Seas! is a bilateral youth exchange between Bulgaria and Spain and will be hold during 22.04.2013/29.04.2013 in Varna, Bulgaria. The main theme of this exchange is Art and Culture and it's main objectives are to promote the participation of youngsters with disabilities from two different countries in Europe in an international exchange that will give them the opportunity to know other cultures and perspectives of people from different countries. The project also wants to foster the mutual understanding between people from different countries.

During eight days, 16 young people from both countries will together with their group leaders (20 people in total) meet and get to know each others countries, traditions and cultures through different methods of non-formal learning. They will also organize an international evening with traditional dishes from the two countries involved and an exhibition with pictures, videos and traditional music in a youth space in Varna where they will involve the local community and youth by presenting information about their countries. The photo exhibition will show pictures from each country, presenting the beauty of the nature, interesting historical heritage, traditions etc. Back home, the Spanish group will also show this exhibition in their hometown and thus our initiative will be presented in Spain.
