Association FOR YOU Was Awarded in the Competition “VOLUNTEER MISSION – (IM) POSSIBLE” 2020

We are pleased to share that we were awarded in the competition “VOLUNTEER MISSION – (IM)POSSIBLE” 2020, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Bulgaria.

Voting ended on December 4, 2020, and on December 5 – International Volunteer Day, an online award ceremony was held for the winners of the competition. 

There were 3 categories – for volunteer, for organization, and for cause, and the votes were online. Association FOR YOU took third place in the category “Volunteer Organization”, and Chrissy from Place FOR YOU was awarded second place in the category “Volunteer”. All * nominated organizations and volunteers received certificates for participation in the competition.  

It is great that the competition shed light on young volunteers from different regions in Bulgaria. They were six in number, especially from the cities of Varshets, Haskovo, Panagyurishte, Varna, Sofia, Sandanski. 

There was also a third category aimed at Volunteer Missions. These included incredible missions from partner organizations, municipal councils, and youth parliaments, all united by the common goal of giving something positive to the community around them. The nominees were #ArtVolunteer of V Art Foundation, the mission “Youth in Europe against COVID – 19” organized by united young people from Shumen and Targovishte. The mission “Give a memory – a different campaign” from the city of Ruse, ZaAseNOVgrad from Asenovgrad, volunteer mission “Let’s give a smile to a lonely person!” from the school in Valchi Dol, and the initiative “One hundred meters Bulgarian flag” held in the town of Sandanski.

We congratulate all the participants in the competition and wish them not to stop doing good things and together to continue to inspire people! Huge thanks to the organizations and volunteers who continue tirelessly in 2020 to do good, in spite of all difficulties.
