Hungarian teachers discover Educational Innovations in Varna
Association “FOR YOU” welcomed in March in Varna a group of five teachers from Hungary within the framework of teacher mobility in the field of professional education and training under the Erasmus+ program, project number 2023-1-HU01-KA122-VET-000128783. They are teachers of graphic design, art history, drawing and painting. With this mobility, they gained experience related to professional education and practice in secondary school. The guests learned about how our education system works and shared ideas and experiences with their colleagues.
The first stop of their visit to our maritime capital was the shared workplace “Innovator“. Here they got a unique first-person view of the work, the activities and the technique they use. The hosts introduced them to the internships, seminars and game nights they organize. He also presented innovative approaches in education in Bulgaria.

The guests from Hungary got to know the cultural and historical heritage of Varna. They visited the Regional History Museum and the Roman Baths, which was an opportunity for them to appreciate the rich history and archeology of the region. The city art gallery “Boris Georgiev” enchanted them with the presentation of the wealth of fine art in Varna. They also introduced them to the training programs they offer for students.

The most impressive for the teachers was their visit to the “Dobri Hristov” National School of Arts. The shared experience with the director Rumiana Petrova was especially valuable for them. They got an opportunity to understand in detail how the school functions and how educational programs are built, and shared their own approaches to education. This exchange of experiences and ideas created a fruitful environment for enriching the educational process for Hungarian teachers.

Their last stop before departure was at the printing house “Helix Press” – one of the leaders in printing in our country. Here, guests were introduced to some of the most advanced technologies, processes and equipment in the printing industry.

For the Hungarian teachers, this trip was not only an opportunity to expand their horizons, but also to get new ideas and inspiration for future educational projects. Cooperation and exchange of experience between teachers from different countries is the key to a richer and more innovative education for the future.
