Virtual Reality and Social Inclusion: Youth Training Program in the Czech Republic

Using Virtual Reality to Promote Social Inclusion

From September 16 to 25, 2024, a training course on “We are all humans: Virtual Reality” was held in Moravec, Czech Republic, organised by our partners “Brno For You”. The aim of the project was to raise awareness of the challenges faced by disadvantaged people and promote their social inclusion through innovative technologies such as virtual reality and the Human Library methodology.

The participants of the project were young people and youth workers from 7 different countries, who had the opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss prejudices and stereotypes towards different social groups and learn about innovative methods of raising public awareness. The course included both a theoretical and a practical part, with special attention being paid to working with virtual reality and its application in non-formal education.
