Association “Step forward” launches a new project
We at Association “FOR YOU are thrilled to share that our partners from “Step forward” have launched an inspiring new project, part of the European Solidarity Corps program. It involves the active participation of five volunteers, three of whom have already started their work
One of the team’s activities is the creation of a new section on Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria. A survey will be created and distributed to collect information about the conditions in which they live. Their goal is to support their integration and understanding of their needs in Bulgaria. The survey will explore the following key aspects:
- Demographic information – age, gender, family status and other personal details
- Protection and registration – access to protection and the efficiency of the registration process
- Housing and living conditions – availability and quality of accommodation
- Income and employment – opportunities for work and financial stability
- Access to services – healthcare, education and other essential services
- Integration – levels of social and cultural adaptation within Bulgarian society
The results of this survey will be analysed and shared on “Step forward’s” dedicated channel – “Uspelite.bg”, to reach a broader audience and guide future initiatives to support refugees in need.
This project is an important step towards addressing the challenges faced by refugees and ensuring that their voices are heard. We are grateful to the team at “Step forward” for their dedication and commitment to making positive impact. Together I we can create better opportunities and conditions for those seeking safety and new start in Bulgaria.
