Environmental Education and Sustainability: The Project of Association “Ela”
We are delighted to announce that our partners from Association “Ela” have successfully completed their project, part of which focused on the development of the “Green Educational Center” in the village of Sturgel. The project brought together the efforts of one long-term and six short-term volunteers, working together for the cause of sustainable development and environmental education.
Project Goals
The main goal of the project was to build the “Green Educational Center” – a space dedicated to hosting educational programs on sustainability, workshops for the local community, and promoting eco-friendly practices. During the project, the volunteers actively participated in construction, landscaping, and implementing sustainable practices in daily life.
Volunteer Contributions
The long-term volunteer focused on coordinating and planning the initiatives, while the short-term volunteers contributed to practical activities such as assisting with construction, landscaping the grounds, and conducting workshops with local residents. All volunteers demonstrated enthusiasm, commitment, and skills that significantly contributed to the project’s success.
Achievements and Future Initiatives
The “Ela” Association has now established the foundation of a sustainable educational center, which will be open for future projects and initiatives. The center will play a key role in promoting sustainable practices and raising environmental awareness in the region.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers for their contributions and to our partners at the “Ela” Association for their dedication to the cause. For more information about the project and upcoming initiatives, please visit the association’s website: www.ela-bg.eu.
With best wishes for future success and new inspiring projects!
