Association FOR YOU is proud to participate as a partner organization in the European project BRIDGE for Mobility – Building Resources for Inclusion, Diversity, Growth and Empowerment, funded under the Erasmus+ programme.  The project began and will run for 30 months, aiming to promote social inclusion and European mobility opportunities for young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

A european initiative for inclusion and equal opportunities

BRIDGE for Mobility brings together partners from Bulgaria (FOR YOU),  Italy (AIAS Bologna), Belgium (Le Fagotin), France (WIPSEE), Denmark (Act by Choice), and Malta (PRISMS).

As a partner in the consortium, Association FOR YOU contributes to the development of more inclusive youth structures and supports the creation of accessible international mobility opportunities for young people with autism.

Why is the project important?

Young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) often face barriers when accessing:

  • Youth activities and community initiatives
  • International exchanges and mobility programmes
  • Educational and social environments that promote inclusion
  • Full participation in community and social life

Although inclusion is a key priority in European policies, many youth workers and organizations still need additional knowledge, tools, and practical guidance to effectively support young people with ASD.

BRIDGE for Mobility aims to respond to this need.

Main objectives of the project

To promote the inclusion of young people with ASD in youth organizations and European mobility programmes.

To achieve this, the project will:

  • Strengthen the capacity of youth workers to work with young people with autism
  • Develop accessible and inclusive mobility opportunities in Europe
  • Create a specialized website supporting inclusive mobility initiatives
  • Raise awareness among youth organizations across Europe about good practices for working with young people with ASD

Towards a more inclusive Europe

BRIDGE for Mobility represents an important step toward building a more inclusive, accessible, and socially responsible Europe.

The project aims to remove barriers to participation for young people with autism, create real opportunities for their engagement in international environments, and strengthen the skills of youth professionals who work with them.

Through cooperation between organizations from different European countries, the project will contribute to stronger collaboration in inclusive youth work and support equal opportunities, diversity, and active civic participation.

Be part of the change

The BRIDGE for Mobility project is now underway and aims to contribute to a more accessible and inclusive youth environment across Europe.

In the coming months, the project will organize activities, trainings, and initiatives supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and the professionals who work with them.

We invite you to follow our website and social media channels for updates, results, and opportunities to get involved.

Together, we can build a future where every young person has the opportunity to grow, participate, and gain international experience.
