From 5 to 8 March 2019 part of our team attended a meeting in Valencia hosted by our Spanish partners ESMOVIA7 of the 8 organisations involved in the European Gateway project have sent representatives throughout this visit – COPAE from Greece, UNISER  from Italy, CEMÉA, FRMFR and CFA GUSTAVE EIFFEL. All the participating organisations are proven professionals in the fields of education, youth work and business.

The hosts from ESMOVIA took care even for the smallest details.

The European Gateway Project

This event was part of a series of planning events related to the international project European Gateway. The European Gateway project’s purpose is to change the way both professionals and young people view with experience international professional mobility for youth. The aim is to motivate trainee or the apprentice to engage actively and take the role in the skill sharing process and integration of youth in an active work environment.

Tasks and Activities During the Meeting

The meeting started with a revision of all tasks that were completed since the last gathering of the partner organisations that took place in Bologna, Italy. Another important topic of the event was finalising the tasks related to the website, which is expected to be ready soon. The platform will help all its users to find the perfect projects we had created for teachers, students, and companies. This website will contain information for all actions that need to occur to implement successful mobility. It will include details about procedures, methods of selection, documentation kits for all participants in the mobility.

What’s Next in the Internship Project?

We also decided to do more mobility exchange and organise two trainings for mobility managers and companies;  how to work with the tools creating during the week. After the working sessions, the participants had the opportunity to visit museums and to discover the city and the culinary culture like paella of Valencia. We at Association FOR YOU would like to thank our hosts from ESMOVIA for their amazing hospitality and the good mood,  it was a very interesting and productive week. We are looking forward to seeing all of our partners in the European Gateway project at the final event in June.
