a Place For You

In 2011 Association FOR YOU gathered local volunteers and young people with disabilities and they started doing various arts and crafts activities together. In the beginning, the group made mostly jewelery. Over the years the workshop has become a place for various social, cultural and artistic events and projects. For a few years, all the activities were held in the organization’s office, but in 2017 the social workshop got its own space and a new name – a Place FOR YOU.

Our Goal

We want a place for you to be a safe place where local youth can feel confident and acquire skills that will allow them to be more self-sufficient and proactive. The atelier is a place for creative workshops, cooking classes, language activities, non-formal trainings and cultural events. Our main goal from the very beginning is to create a warm and welcoming environment. This is a place for entertainment, creativity, and social contacts for both the participants in a disadvantaged situation and other youngsters involved in the project.

Can I Help?

We are organising and implementing the events and activities with the help of dedicated volunteers and team members. There is a symbolic participation fee, which, together with the material and financial donations help us buy craft materials for our different projects. We also use these resources to cover basic expenses that allow us to maintain the activities. If you want to support us you can:
