Do you want to be part of an event that inspires change and promotes inclusion? Join us as a volunteer at “Shtak Tuk-Tam! Adapt Yourself!”, organized by Association FOR YOU! This unique event aims to promote adapted sports for people with different abilities and to foster tolerance and understanding in society.

• Volunteering period: May 30 – June 12, 2025 (arrival on May 29 and departure on June 13)
• Location: Varna, Bulgaria
• Festival Day: June 7, 2025

What will you do as a volunteer?

As a volunteer, you will play an essential role in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of the festival. Your tasks will include:

• Preparing and packing materials for the event;
• Setting up the festival locations;
• Supporting participants with different types of disabilities (visual, auditory, physical, and mental);
• Distributing information materials before, during, and after the event;
• Taking photos, shooting short videos, and writing articles about the event;
• Organizing and leading your own creative activities and workshops;
• Participating in training sessions on working with people with disabilities;
• Taking part in evaluation activities after the event

Accommodation and living conditions

• You will be accommodated in a dormitory or hostel in Varna, shared with 4-5 other volunteers.
• Each volunteer will receive:
  • Food allowance: 75 euros
  • Pocket money: 75 euros
  • Local transportation allowance: 15 euros
• International travel costs will be reimbursed according to the official distance band:
  • Up to 500 km – 180 euros
  • 500–1999 km – 275 euros
  • 1999–2999 km – 360 euros

On-the-job training

• You will receive an introduction and welcome training upon arrival;
• You will participate in workshops and preparation sessions about adapted sports and working with people with disabilities;
• During the event, you will be mentored and guided by experienced youth workers and event organizers;
• After the event, you will participate in evaluation meetings and receive a Youthpass Certificate recognizing your skills and contribution.
