What Will You Do as a Volunteer?

As part of this creative volunteer project in Sofia, Bulgaria, you will:

• Creating audio, visual, and text content for NYF’s media and website: https://nmf.bg/
• Designing posts and managing content calendars for social media platforms.
• Preparing and sending out e-newsletters and organizing online and offline campaigns.
• Assisting in the organization, promotion, and participation in various youth activities such as events, conferences, and meetings with partners and stakeholders.
• Communicating with partner organizations and key decision-makers in the youth policy sector.

Your creativity and communication skills will help amplify young voices and promote active youth participation!

Accommodation and Living Conditions

During your volunteering experience, you will be provided with:

• A single room in a shared flat located in Sofia, Bulgaria.
• Pocket money, as well as monthly food and local transport allowances, according to the program rules.
• International health insurance coverage.
• An international certificate and a Youthpass upon successful completion of the project.

Everything is arranged to ensure you have a comfortable and enriching stay while contributing to NYF’s mission.

On-the-Job Training

To support your successful integration and development:

• You will receive arrival training, task-specific instructions, and participate in mid-term and final evaluations.
• You’ll gain hands-on experience working with media tools like WordPress, Google features, TikTok, graphic design software, and audio-visual equipment.
• You will also develop valuable skills in content creation, stakeholder communication, and event management.
